Is this normal?

Ok so I’m looking after my mom’s chickens while she’s away on a trip and I’m worried about this one chicken in particular. She completely molts around this time of year so that’s not what I’m worried about, I just wanna know if that bump at the bottom of her butt is normal or if she’s egg bound or something. I’m not really an expert on chickens so some advice would be appreciated!!

Poor thing! She's really a porcupine isn't she.

I think she's fine, a hen can look a bit odd without feathers covering up their features.

If she were egg bound, she'd be standing up like a penguin, hunched and/or straining and in distress.
