Is this normal?

After 7 weeks I finally got my chickens into their coop. They seem to be doing fine but they haven't explored their nesting boxes at all.

They are almost 10 weeks old now. Do you think they will discover their nesting boxes when the time comes?

Yes. A lot of people don't even open their nesting boxes until their hens are ready to lay. When they feel the need to lay an egg they will look for a quiet dark spot, which is hopefully the nesting box!
