Is this normal?

My EE roo keeps on throwing up this goo with pieces of plants in it. Is this normal? Why is he doing this?

I've never seen this but my guess is he may have something stuck in his crop or is overfilling it. It sounds like it may be irritated and he's trying to clear it? Hope someone on here knows but if they don't, I'd get him checked over.
