Would polyethylene material be suitable as a grow out pen or for meaties with the front left open at all times. It is water resistant.
(predator protected with elec fence/netting)

Open front would get cold in the winter where your at and those things don't last long out 24/7. The sun rots the plastic.

My coop is open front shed (tin). They can work fine as a coop.

oh, good to know. I would be using it in summer only, in full sun. I think I’ll pass on it if the plastic degrades that fast.
thanks!!

I think it might make a perfectly fine temporary pen within an electric net (though owls might be an issue), but it might get rather hot inside since there's no air FLOW.

Even my Camp Cockerel can get warmer than ambient back in the sheltered portion on a sunny day, especially now that I put half of a third side on it.
