Is this Ok to do? Or will it harm the chickens

well I just went out and got 4 warm eggs and usually only have 1 this early I think it might work. or maybe its just that today is 2 weeks ive had my hens so they may be getting comfy here

got 5 eggs the past 2 days so 5 out of 8 are laying but I dont think the pepper worked there just finally ready.lol
