Not an emergency so idk if this is the appropriate place, just hoping if it isnt normal to treat whatever it is while the birds still appear healthy.

Peachicks, 1 male, 1 female. Not sure who or if both pooped it. I got them on July 31st as wee little things (pic attached bc I'm not sure how many weeks) so they're probably 4 months old. 500g. They have been separated from the other peafowl and chickens in a pen that has been used by all before and were purchased from some random breeder out in rural GA who had them in a mesh-floor brooder. Their pen here is dirt / pine straw floor (previously a raised mesh-floor brooder and before that a styrofoam brooder in my kitchen lol).

I had 4. One died of histomoniasis - necropsy confirmed. Another died a couple days later. I wormed these two once I got the necropsy results and they pooped out a disgusting amount of worms (Wazine in water). I started them on Ronidazol (powder in water) to be safe. Oct 12 was when I shipped off the dead bird and this all happened in the following days. They were on Ronidazol for longer than I expected - it was a dose in water for as long as it took them to drink it.

Anywho, these two never showed lethargy and have been fine, except for pooping out a zillion worms. Today their poops are just a little mushy so I'm being preemptive.

I'm sure theres information I missed but thats the gist of it.

Edit: I feed them medicated chick starter and dried meal worms.

Edit #2: I know their poops are generally nasty, but this just seems a little thinner than I'd expect & I'm paranoid because this season has been unkind to me.

I checked out the peafowl poop thread and it's not on the list of awful awful poops but it's not quite a normal poop either.
