Is this pipping, or a disaster?!

One of the eggs I have in the incubator has a hole in it, and there's a bead of gooey something coming out of it. I thought it might be the chick's beak or something, and maybe it was too dry, so I moistened it a bit. That's when I realized it wasn't exactly solid; the stuff is amber colored. There's also a strong "meaty" smell in the 'bator.

I've just about had it with this hatch, but I'm not giving up until they do!
 
Rotten egg. Toss before it contaminates the rest.

Well, I decided to open the egg. I thought, "well, might as well learn something here." This is what I learned:
