Got these for free! Many more were available, but I choose what could fit in my car, and what was whole or had all the parts.

This one is 36" long, 30" wide, and 24" high.

This one is 32" long, 30" wide, and 20" high. It comes with 2 poop boards not shown here. There poop broads goes on top in the picture, which once I flip the cage upside down, becomes the bottom. There's also a little bird cage in there. wink

So, will these protect its inhabitant from raccoons or cats?

I would think from house cats, yes - raccoon no. Raccoons would be able to pull the sides apart - at least I would worry about it - or pull chicken parts thru the larger spaced wire.

I think they would make great chick pens for when adding new additions/clutches to the coop - or for broody hens in the coop.

Fantastic price
