are collars ok for ducks? we mainly use them because over the collar bandanas are easier than tie ons and snap ons.

As long as the collar isn't strangling them it should be ok, I'd take it off occasionally so they can preen the feathers underneath as well.

we take it off when we aren’t with them, usually we put it on for walks (we don’t attach the leash to it, we use a harness) and for pictures and bandanas/bows
