Is this sand ok?

This is the all purpose sand, I believe, from Lowe’s. It was from my children’s sand box but not sure if it is coarse enough for my feather babies. First time chicken mama here
I know it’s supposed to be construction sand, river bank sand, etc. I’m curious if this could be a filler part of that sand for more volume.

Sand isn't the best run substrate, it won't break down poop. It depends where you are, but organic material is good for composting.
