Is this sand the right size?

I've heard the praises of sand for coops sung from everywhere. Is this sand too fine? I know it shouldn't be so fine it causes crop impaction.

I would worry more about stink than crop impaction.
Sorry.... I, among many, am not one to praise sand as bedding.

Not sure about finer sand being more of risk than coarser sand for impaction,
finer sand can be dustier tho.
