Is this shrink wrapped? PIC WARNING

Hello, stressful hatch going on here with shipped Swedish flower eggs. 4 have made it. This popped yesterday and nothing since so I took it out and unfortunately the chick has died. Is this shrink wrapped or did it pop into a blood vessel?

That is not shrink wrapped and a pip at a vein is not a death sentence. Most likely it was genetically weak.

Ok thank you. As I said, stressful hatch. Shipped eggs some with huge saddle cells (one of which has hatched healthily!) and then power outage the night of day 18, took the incubator to a friends to plug it back in after 8 hours of being cold etc. I’m happy to have 4 on the ground and hopefully one more on the way

It bled to death. Had the samething happen to one, I was hatching for a friend. It is rare, but it happens sometimes.

Rare cases they hit the major vessel, & bleed to death.
