Any opinions? I'm new to having chicks so I have no idea what makes show quality. I just thought she was to cute to not take home.

Pet quality. Someone will come along with more in depth reasons why but off the top of my head I think her body looks too long, and her top knot isn't great.
How old is she?

She'd probably be great for showmanship for 4-H or something though! And a perfect pet

****ETA- At 10 weeks there is no telling if it's even really a pullet, and I think I'm seeing some streamers on the top knot that lead me to think it might actually be a Roo!****

Absolutely too young to tell gender or determine quality unless she has obvious DQs such as the wrong number of toes or the wrong type of comb.

She has potential, but that is about all you can say until she (I'll be hopeful for you) matures more.

I agree with Sonora, I have some here that are 16 weeks and I am just now seeing some real potential. I keep the ones with all the correct toes and combs at around 10 weeks cull the ones that have DQs. Some of the ones I think are not going to do much surprise me. Silkies NEED to mature to accurately judge quality.

Your little bird has potential that is for sure. Watch the wings, your are looking for a nice tight horizontal carriage, Toe spacing, comb color. These thing take time to develop.

I agree totally with Sonoran and jimanjay. I have some that are 4 months old and just starting to show their potential. I sell the ones with DQ's as "pet" quality. It is way too early to tell. Cut chick though!!
