Yep, just the embryotic waste that built up over hatch. I do notice when they'res a lot of it, the duckling's belly might be still swollen a bit, so you may check that and treat her accordingly if she does.

Oh, she's definitely absorbing still, make sure to disinfect your hands before you touch her. Just let her sit in what you have now until she is done. The towel should be dry, not moist. After is turns dry, I might put a little Neosporin around her navel area to keep it from getting infected.

In hatched for Someone but I’m keeping them a couple of weeks! They are all out fine so relieved! Thanks you for all ur help xx

They are precious! What do you have around their necks? I’d be worried if them getting it caught on something and getting chocked

Not only that, but it's like a weight is on their neck, I'd be afraid of them going to drink and the brace slips down and they're unable to lift their head back up. They have such weak necks when young. Mine can barely keep their head up without one on.
