Is this toe going to cause a problem?

Not sure her age - they didn't know at the store. I'm guessing about 5 weeks. (Please don't say clip it off - it's very tender, and I don't think I can do that)... Hoping that the dark part will die and fall off? wishful thinking?

What type of problem are you worried about? Infection, the chick having a hard time walking, pain...?

I don't think so one of my chickens had an accident with here toe and now half of here toe is gone but she walks just fine unless you look really close you wont even notice it

I agree, I have a hen with half of one of her toes missing and she moves like the rest of my chickens.

Mostly, I am worried about it bleeding.
She gets around just fine - I'm not worried about that...

but they do peck at each others toes when one gets up on the chick feeder or waterer.
