is this too drafty for the chickens on their roosts at night?

i know ventilation is good drafts are bad. but i know i want the window open at night in arkansas in the summer.

this front upper door used to have glass in it, which broke during installation. hubby put hardware cloth on it instead. it's at the level of the chickens when they are roosting at night. you can see the front roost through the hardware cloth in the pic.

too much air? it has OSB over it right now but i am opening my windows at night now and wondering if it would be ok to open it for the birds. it looks like crap with OSB over this pretty paint job. but obviously if it'll be too cool, i need to put in plexiglass or somesuch.

I agree with greenpeeps. If your nights are in the 40s/50s....that is fine. But when it (eventually) starts dropping again, stick a piece of plexiglass in there. It should as simple as screwing a piece of plywood up there and would look tons better

I love the colors you used as well! So bright and cheerful looking!
