Is this weird? I LIKE to hold chickens...

My husband thinks I'm weird. Once the coop is clean, I like to sit in there and Two (that's her name) jumps into my lap.

If you are weird for holding chickens, then there are a lot of weird people who post on the Back Yard Chickens forum. But if the chicken likes to be held as much as any parrot, then what's so weird about it?

I LOVE holding my kids!!!! I wish more of them would let me hold them.

Don't have any pictures, but my husband and I like to hold our neighbors' chickens! They are really friendly and sweet, especially a little black silkie.

I like to hold all animals, and think they are little miracles. Enjoy it while you can though because they might not like to be held when they are grown.
