I have thought this Wyandotte was a roo ever since it was a young chick because the wattles and comb were so red. But it’s 20 weeks old and I’m now thinking it’s a hen and not a roo! What are your thoughts? In the picture is two Wyandottes, one in the front I have always thought was a hen. She had a single comb. The chicken behind her is the one I’m wondering about. It’s still very red but no more growth on wattles than the hen. Please tell me it is indeed a hen?
And yes we use an old slide for the watering trough.
it’s actually quite perfect!
