IS TOO MUCH CALCIUM BAD?

I feed multi flock pellets to my ducks and have a dish for the girls full of oyster shells for extra calcium but my girls eat it like it is candy..Is it because they really like it or are their bodies telling them they need it? Really need to know I am out so I was going to buy more..They went through the last 5lb bag really fast but of course some was lost because they step in it all the time! Thanks

I dont feed layer pellets because of my boys....

i woulnd't worry about it. It just seems to make their tow nails grow longer faster. lol. Mine also eat it like candy and they are on layer pellets. lol.
