I picked up some chicks from TS last weekend. The bin was marked “pullets”
A picture of a white chicken “white sex-linked” and picture of a black chicken “black sex-linked”. So I grabbed a white one, a black one, and a couple of theses little grayish chicks that I discovered were Sapphire Gems!! Anyway...here is a picture of my “white sex-linked” chick. Tail feathers are super long...wondering if I have a rooster or if it’s normal for the tail feathers to be this long already!

To my knowledge there is not pure white chick which would be a sex linked pullet, unless she is a feather sex link. She may be an Amber link, in which case, she will be sprouting some golden colored feathers. Or, it could be a male sex link. Red sex linked males present as white or yellow chicks. Find out which hatchery your TSC uses, then do a search for the varieties they carry.
