Is your auto egg turner REALLY slow??

I have the GQF auto turner, for the Hovabator. Mine moves so slow I can barely tell it's moving is that normal?

Yes. It only goes from one side to the other in a 4 hour period and then back again in another 4 hours. Pretty slow.

Ok, thanks, cuz my broody hen will roll her eggs around with her beak like it's nothing and I thought in my mind that it should move faster. Now I know it's supposed to be that way....

I told DH I thought it was too slow, he said it's gear reduction sweetheart, I'm like ok whatever that meant, hee hee!
