I got these cute chicks from FF&H today. They are supposed to be ISA Brown pullets. But now I'm wondering since I don't see any dark ones when I google the breed/chicks. Thanks your comments!

The image isn't showing for me.

Red Sex Links pullets are mostly reddish/brown down. Males are yellow/white down. ISA Brown is a proprietary name for their red sex link hybrid. Each major producer will use a different name to stand apart, Red Star for example.

Image is showing for me now. Are all four chicks suppose to be the same ISA Brown or just the two darker ones?

If they are all suppose to be ISA pullets then take a photo of them without the red light to show the color. Also ensure that heat lamp is not too close and secured by two independent means. You'll know if the chicks are panting if it's too close. With such a small space and few chicks a low watt incandescent might be better. I've used 60W in 18x24 inch tote before.

Here is a stock photo from McMurray showing the red sex link male and pullet as chicks-

I'll take a black and white pic tomorrow. But basically 2 are yellow and 2 are mostly black. All are supposed to be ISA Brown pullets.

If black then not ISA. If all four are indeed red sex link then you got straight run. Don't take a black and white photo. It doesn't do much for seeing color. Turn on a light and turn off the red light to take a photo.

Here's pic without red heat light. Oh well, I'll see what color eggs they have and the frequency. I changed bedding so they
could walk around better. They were happy this morn.

I looked up Farm Family and Home. Website shows every bird on any hatchery list. It's possible the two darker ones are ISA. Not the best photo. The two white ones are either male ISA and it was a straight run bin or that store is same as most TSC in that the keepers of the chicks don't know anything about them and clump different breeds into bins as they are selling out without changing bin labels.

If I were you I'd call the store, speak to the manager and ask directly if any straight run chicks were ordered. If all pullets then great. Ask what "breeds" came in past two weeks and from there you can narrow down what you have. If not, as in they received any straight run chicks, then they've got to rectify it. If ISA were purchased straight run and you bought pullets it needs correcting.
