Whats the difference between a isa brown and red star?

The difference is in the breeding stock. ISA Browns were developed by the Hendrix-ISA company, using a specific breeding line for the silver hens and a specific line for the red roosters. They are bred specifically with uniformity of eggs in mind, for commercial egg farms.
Red stars are the generic, hatchery red sexlinks.
