Isa Brown Vs Red Sex Link

I have always raised Isa Brown's as I have generally been a loyal Tractor Supply Chick day addict. I am wanting to make an order in to a different hatchery this year that sells a type of red sex link (Golden Buff to be specific) I was wondering if the same powerhouse for egg laying is a red sex link type thing (which an Isa Brown is a variation of red sex link) or if I would lose some of the Oompft! by changing over a red sex link?

They're pretty much the same thing. Hatcheries each have their own strain that they call a different name, but they're virtually the same thing.

Yep, so Cinnamon Queens, Golden Comet, Golden Buff, ISA Brown, etc. are all going to perform about the same.

totally agree with Magpie. The only difference is possibly what the hatcheries put into the hybrid to make it. Otherwise, everything else is exactly the same.
