Isbar rooster

I hatched out some isbars and one of my Roos is completely white. Has anyone had this happen? I don’t want to keep them both but I’m not sure if I should keep him or the black one for breeding purposes.

Recessive white, like mottled black, does show up periodically in the breed. My understanding is that while there is currently no APA-approved standard for the breed, BBS (blue, black, and splash) is the preferred coloration. You may find the information here helpful, too.
