I thought I saw and read a thread about candling ducks eggs and what it should look like. I can't find it now, all I find is about chicken eggs.

If anyone knows where the thread is or if I am just making this up in my head please let me know.

I have been doing research on this as well, we are at day 10 of our first time incubating duck eggs. Here's what I've found:

If I find more, I'll post it for you.... Happy Hatching!!

Thanks for the link!

Quick question, should I candle my broody's eggs or just let them be. It isn't cold here now but I don't want to pick them up and mess anything up.

I LOVE the Mink Hollow website, I go back and reference that while I'm candling all the time. Here's the link to a thread that I started, documenting the candling of my duck eggs: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=304863

The
pictures are really great day-by-day through week one, but they start to get harder to see during week two, and after that I just gave up.

Last month was so hectic with birds hatching every week (sometimes I had multiple hatches in a week) that I never got around to filling in the missing pictures. It's slower now, and I'm still incubating some Indian Runner eggs every month, so maybe I'll get around to updating it now!
