ISO Coturnix Quail hens in Northern CA/Bay Area

You might want to post where you are located, northern California covers a lot of area. I usually drive partway to meet people when I sell eggs or birds.

i'm in San Jose. I would not want to make you drive partway for just a few birds, unless you already need to travel for some other reason!

I would search Craigslist for quail, there's an ad I keep seeing for a guy selling quail and I think he is fairly close to you. Or at least a lot closer to you than I am. I've been thinking about getting some chicks or eggs from him to expand my gene pool but like you, didn't want to make the long drive unless I really had a reason.

I got some quails from likely the same person this weekend. I got two button quail and 13 coturnix. One didn’t make the thought the first night but the rest are putting on weight. I’m not sure how old the buttons are as their beaks are a little long.
