ISO ducklings in Ohio

Hello everyone,

I'm a new duck mom as of this morning. I ordered 3 ducklings, but sadly 2 have passed, likely due to shipping stress. I now have one lonely little duckling that needs a friend or two. Does anyone have ducklings for sale? I'm in Ohio and willing to drive.

Congrats on your new duck! So sorry to hear about the other 2. I also had one pass away this month from shipping stress. I live in clermont county, do you need drakes or hens?

Thanks for responding! I'm happy to say we no longer need more ducks. I was able to find 3 over the weekend, and then yesterday the hatchery replacements came (tried to cancel it, but they shipped them before they read my email). Had planned to start easy with only 3, now I have 6! They're so much fun, though, I don't mind.

We are loving our new babies as well!! glad you were able to find some more! I have been looking like crazy. I need a couple hens but I can't find any around! And ordering only a few more makes me nervous. Do you mind if I ask where you got the other 3?

I got 2 Anconas from Hester's Family Farm in Morrow, OH. She had 3 left as of Sunday. And a Welsh Harlequin from Smith Family Waterfowl in West Jefferson, OH. Good luck with your search! What breeds do you have/are you looking for?

I will deffinetly check both of those out! Thank you! I have 3 blue swedish, 2 cayuga, and 2 khaki campbells currently. Both of those are breeds I would love to have, also black swedish and buff, but I'm not very picky when it comes to ducks

We live in Clinton County Ohio, sort of smack dab in the middle of Dayton, Cinci and Columbus. I'm looking for a young duck or gosling as I have one very lonesome gosling who is about 10-12 days old. No idea of the sex but it sure is adorable....
I'm also looking for a Salmon Faverolle chick or young pullet.
Good to find some Buckeyes...
