Really not picky on breed. We’ve got a barnyard mix already. I’ve just fallen in love with this coloring and want to add some to our flock. I see them most commonly as Maran, ameracauna, Cochin. Any are fine, just wanting the best chances of getting a pretty white and splotchy bird!

If you have a blue hen and a blue rooster you can produce your own. I would look on ebay, you may have better luck in the spring though.

I think blue to blue makes BBS (50% blue, 25% splash, 25% black.)

Breeding splash to splash = 100% splash

yes that is correct. i was just letting them know that if they did have two blues they could make splash.
