ISO: Marans Hatching Eggs

Hey guys!
I’m looking for some Marans hatching eggs. I’m thinking 12 eggs would be a good amount because I just want a few to add to my flock. I would like some dark eggs to add to my egg basket and I would also hope to hatch a Marans rooster to breed to my Easter eggers for olive eggs. I live in North Carolina, and I’ve never had any hatching eggs shipped to me before, so I’m a little nervous about it, but also very excited!
if anybody has any dark colored Marans eggs of any variety, or knows a reliable seller for me to contact, please let me know!

I have had great experience with them. Amazing farm. They are also bred to the standard. Black copper, blue copper, and splash. Good price and all the eggs I ordered came to me unharmed and safe. 5 of 6 are currently in my incubator and developing nicely.

Have you purchased from them before? If so, do you have any pros or cons about the shipping, fertilization rates, shell and egg quality, etc?
I looked them up and I’ve been reading a little about their farm and what they offer, and they seem pretty reliable to me, but I’m just looking for others opinions and experiences.

Cackle Hatchery has a nice selection of Marans hatching eggs. Unfortunately, they are only available late October onwards. We ordered some Wheaten Marans eggs from them and they are beautiful.

Awesome! If you don’t mind me asking, how dark were the eggs that you received? I’m hoping for really dark eggs, and I know that it can be a challenge to find them for a good price.

Honestly, I think you’ve sold me. I’m going to do a bit more research, but as of right now, I’m planning on ordering them on Monday. Thank you so much! I appreciate your help! I’m really excited. I’ve been wanting some Marans for years, but I never dove in and got some hatching eggs. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly and that I’ll be able to add a few to my flock!
