So, my eggs shipped last Tuesday, and they still haven’t arrived. For some reason it got stuck in Greensboro, NC on its way here. I’m pretty worried about how viable they will be because it’s been nearly a week since they were shipped and it’s been very cold. Also there is that fact that they probably haven’t been handled very well. This is my first batch of shipped eggs, so I am really hoping for good results. Anyways, they are supposedly out for delivery right now, and should arrive today. I’m (impatiently) waiting! I can’t wait until they are finally here. Depending on their shape when they get here, I may file a claim and try to get my money back and order new ones if these are no good.

I definitely will incubate them! They just arrived. 3 of them have been cracked pretty badly. Those I will be tossing. 1 has a small crack in the shell that I have sealed with clear nail polish and I’m still going to attempt to hatch. They all have loose or detached air cells. I will be filing a claim as soon as I can because it’s pretty obvious that they weren’t handled carefully. They are currently resting and I’ll pop them in the incubator tomorrow morning.

I'm sorry your experience hasn't been so hot! Trust me on this, I am very surprised your experience wasn't better. I would not recommend this farm to you if I didn't think it was great. I am sure they will send you a reimbursement. I'm sorry..............you never know though, you may get an ok hatch!

Oh, trust me! I have fallen in love with this farm, and I hold absolutely nothing against them. I’ll definitely be ordering from them in the future. The packaging was absolutely perfect, and they included a sweet handwritten card, as well as a wooden keepsake egg. The eggs I received are absolutely gorgeous. I’m just a little angry at the post office and I want them to give me a refund. If the post office won’t, and they request the farm to pay, I wouldn’t allow that. Deer run farm did everything absolutely perfect and I couldn’t be more pleased with them. Thank you for recommending them to me, and I’m really hoping at least a couple of these babies will hatch.
