Looking to purchase 24 silver laced barnevelder hatching eggs to hatch with my 4 young children. Thanks for looking

Hi, just to let you know, now is not a good time to have eggs shipped, the postal service is so bogged down that packages are getting beat up and lost for weeks or forever. Plus it's winter so the eggs will freeze and crack. Where are you located? I know of a breeder in North Carolina. The shorter the distance to ship, the better chance you have that the eggs will be viabile.

I’m located in Michigan I was thinking the same thing I’m just trying to do the leg work now it’s been difficult to find these. I really appreciate you reaching out.

Sure thing, I've been wanting Barnevelders from this breeder for years but the gamble of hatching eggs is too much right now, I'd fly out and get them myself if I were to do it

Cindy at FoxfireFarmsLLC in N Idaho may have them. She has a lot of purebreds, and both GL and SL in several breeds, i think. I got my eggs this month in just a couple days. If her Potluck special is still on you could order it and give her your wish list! Shipping was included, and I got extras. 24 hrs rest at room temp, then 3 days upright in the Incubator - that she recommended for the Shipped Eggs - and air cells looked great.

I have 22 eggs in my incubator now from her!!! Cream Legbar and Isbar (Silverudd’s Blue) so far only 5 are “questionable” as of day 6 but the others are all looking good!!!! I’m on day 8 now I’ll check them again around day 14.

Wonderful! I ordered 12 of the Purebreed Potluck, but asked for some laced and olive eggers to be included. Only had to remove 2 of the generous 18 eggs she sent. i set them 2 weeks ago. 1 clear, 1 quitter. I broke 1 CL but painted it - doubtful It will make it. I have a few Isbars, Crested Legbars, laced breeds, Marans, Wyandottes and more in mine. Tilting and hand-turning instead of the constant 1-direction roller bars Will try her rope trick at lockdown to reduce rollover of pipping eggs.
(Here's an example, *not my pic)

I have also had very good experiences with Foxfire. The potluck is a real bargain. Out of 60 eggs she has sent me about 80% have developed and approximately 80% of those hatched. Have 48 more potluck eggs to candle for development this evening.
