Isolating new aquisition.

So I've got the new hen set up in my daylight basement with plenty of sunlight, feed, scratch, a sand dish to bathe in, a cob of fresh corn, fresh water, basically a chicken spa. I'm wondering though if being truly isolated and alone will be hard on her. She can probably hear the other hens when they are free ranging in the yard and definitely can hear the roos.

Will she suffer being alone for how ever many weeks I decide to keep her isolated?

everything I've read recommends 30 days. She may be lonley, can you rig a portable run for her to put her out near the others during the day. Something where she can see them, they see her but they aren't exposed to contact with each other or the poo.

Her being a little lonley is much better than killing your whole flock.

Her pen is 6'L x3'w x3'h so she's not cramped. Maybe I'll trun a radio on for her.
