So it was 6:30 am when I discovered the first pip then 2 hours later a 2nd egg trying to break thru I could actually see the shell give but not break I heard lots of peeps but can’t figure out which

the first one should have made some progress by now right? I haven’t seen anything on the other 8 eggs hoping a lot goes tonight

they are on days 21/22

temp 99.5
Hum 65-70 %

No, give it at least 24 hours before worrying at all. They can quite safely and often do take 24+ hours. They sit there for a long time learning how to breathe and absorbing their yolk. I would never expect it to be hatched yet if it just pipped this morning. By tomorrow morning, probably.
Just sit on your hands. They'll be fine.

Update

the one from this morning nowhas 1/2 inch hairline crack looking I believe getting ready to zip on out, the second one seems to have made a little progress as well however no hole just cracks, looks like 2 more now showing signs as well. This is the most rewarding experience even if it makes me a wreck I love it I am hooked for life

I love the people here at Backyard Chickens thank all of you for your knowledge and understanding y’all rock.....
