It’s official! After over a month I’ve been able to choose my favorite out of the flock!

It is official. Our one and only rooster is my absolute favorite chicken. Pixel is the sweetest little guy. While the other chickens will let me pet them (sometimes), and don’t like to be held all that much, this little fluff ball of a rooster (he is the smallest btw, and he will stay that way, since he’s a Bantam Cochin) will fly up onto my lap and sit down to be petted.

A bit older now, with all his feathers in, he is a very handsome boy, with a lovely crow to match! Still just as sweet, always being the first to greet me and wanting to be in my lap.
