it is so hot here in pensacola today.. and there is like no wind..

I just put ice cubes in their waterer I am wondering if I should spray down their pen?

You can do that...anything to try to keep them cool...I run a fan from the rafters in my henhouse on hot summer days and make sure the waterers are filled with fresh water 3 or 4 times a day...

Hot like crazy here too, though in Cali at least it's not as humid, though I clocked 109 in the sahde yesterday. The poor girls are panting and have their wings up all day.

I used the hose to make a nice wet spot for them in the shade. They used it some and also pecked around in it.
