Hi,

Do you have only one chicken? If so, maybe that's the problem as chickens don't like to be alone.

As the previous poster mentioned, age is also very important. And, of course, if it's a roo (sometimes you don't know for a very long time), you'll NEVER get eggs!

no i have 2 but the other one u can tell its not ready to lay eggs

Well, if one isn't ready to lay yet then she'll only lay when she is ready to. There's really nothing you can do to make a chicken lay eggs until her body says it is time!
