for me to enlarge my set up!!

Although I just completed my coop and run in June, I've got the lumber in my truck right now to better than double the size of the run.

I've got 10 hens in a 8 x 8 coop and a 8 x 16 (partialy roofed) run...the run will end up with the original 8 x16 with an additional 8 x 24 added. ....and I can't help myself from scouring through craigslist for cheap buildings to convert to another coop or cheap (free) materials......

Everybody on here warned me.....

I am doing the same thing. I bought a small henhouse for 3 chickens and now have five. My DH built the run and put it all together last May, but now I find the thing just doesn't work for me or my girls. No real place to lay things out or any leg room for them in the henhouse. We just bought the lumbar to add 32sq ft to the run, and my dad is coming up to help re-do the house. Adding 12 more sq to it, more if we can. Unbelievable! I didn't know this could be so addicting! Welcome to the club!
