Itchy hands..?

Any idea why sometimes my palms are itchy after I come out of the chicken coop/run? Even if I don't touch the chickens sometimes my hands are still a little itchy. And it's only my hands not my feet or arms or anything else. Could it be mites? What should I look for if it might be mites? Or is it possible that I'm allergic to something in the run. I didn't have this problem until the last week or so.

If only your hands, you may be allergic to something you are touching.
If it was arms and other parts of your body, I'd suspect fleas or lice.
