I agree with many of the other posters. Go to local TV and newspapers, try to seek a variance, and have neighbors sign a petition for you to keep them. Also since you have had chickens for 25 years I would see if they could "grandfather" you in. It might help to do research on who is on the council or board, that will give you insight into which way they might vote. When you go to the media use your daughter as fair queen and 4H participant, it will probably get the media on your side. GOOD LUCK!
