I wish I were close to the mountains. I am 40 miles south of Raleigh, 35 mile north of Southern Pines, the golf capital of NC or 30 east of Fayetteville, home to Fort Bragg.

We've been hit by a few storms up here this year. The temps
outside are around 35. It's supposed to be in the teens
tommorrow. I love the cold, it's the wind I can do without.

Well, I'm 8/10 of a mile from the NC border, in GA, and we got maybe 1/2", enough to make a soggy mess of things.

It's rained here since early morning and finally turned over to snow about 2:30. Tonight every thing will freeze solid and there will be wrecks every where, so I'm holed up till this is over. Every one stay safe.... Laura
