Do you think her egg will survive? Temps in barn were about 100 degrees when this happened. She was so hot out there that she was just standing up with egg under her. Egg was not hot. Was not cold either. I have since brought mom and her one egg into my air conditioned house and she's in a dark cage happy. The egg was on day 11 (yesterday) when this happened. Thanks,

Karen

If the ambient temp is close to incubation temps, I wouldn't worry.
I'd try to move momma and nest inside so she doesn't pass out in the heat.

if its incubation temp outside she doesnt need to sit on them lol .. just guard and turn them, wild birds do the same thing in the summer after it warms up theyll go play around just hanging out close to the nest for a couple hours ..

thank you both very much! That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. She's indoors out of the heat and safe. Thanks again!
