It's official, I'm getting quail!

Well, I won the auction, and will hopefully soon have 50 button quail eggs in my incubator. I brought the incubator and food from my mother's place (where I was storing my stuff), but didn't bring the brooder, lol. Anyways, the boyfriend is going to kill me, but, oh, it'll be so worth it!

Thanks guys! They're on their way. Unfortunately for me, they were accidentally sent to my mother's address. Not too big of a deal, except that it'll arrive on the day that the BF and I are supposed to be down there. Sounds like excellent timing, right? WRONG! I didn't want the bf to know at least until after they were in the incubator!!! So, now I have to tell him sooner than I had thought, because there'll be no way to sneak to the post office, then sneak the box back to our place, then sneak it into the house... Shucks.

If you guys don't hear from me after the 7th, it's because the bf strangled me, lol.
Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll be a three day shipment.

Just tell you boyfriend the eggs were a gift for him and you were going to be so sweet to hatch them for him.

Hahaha! I know what its like. I sneak to with my husband and by the time I have everything going, he changes his mind.

And they say woman change their minds often, men do it more. They just don't like to admitted they have changed it.

They're here!!! The Euro button eggs are here! I'm so excited. I just can't hide it! Lol, ok, sorry about that one. Anyways, the button eggs are here. Unfortunately, my payment fell through for the coturnix, thanks to paypal messing up, so they're delayed. I'll just have to set up my hatcher for sure now, lol.
As far as the boyfriend goes, well, he didn't like the idea of a rabbit either, now he's constantly letting him out, petting him and feeds/waters him all of the time. I let the dishes go low before replacing, he seems to think that they must be full at all times, lol.
