That's so cute Stacey, Olivia making snowballs for the chickens to eat.

Hazel is doing great. She's a pretty shy girl with the other chickens, which is surprising. She doesn't pick on anyone or get picked on, she meshes very well.
I've gotten 3 or 4 green/blue eggs, but waiting is torture. My younger two EE's haven't started laying yet... I wish they'd hurry up!

Had snow showers here mid-morning but turned over to rain. Still a little snow left on the pumpkins though. It's about time!

This was our first snow of the year in CT. It didn't amount to anything more than a light layer on the grass. It was however enough to distract the kids at school from doing much of anything and it rained at recess time so we were stuck inside.
