Its so strange but so exciting!

I can’t believe I am getting baby chicks in the mail. Little live creatures coming to be me in a box. It’s like something out of child’s story book. However, we received notice they have shipped, and I have the brooder all ready. Seven of them! I am so excited I could nearly burst into song and dance. My husband raised chickens as a kid, over 200 of them, so he thinks I am being silly, but I think even he is excited.

Thank you! We are getting 3 sage gem bantams and four "grab bag" bantams. So it will be partial surprise. I am hopping they all look a bit different when they get older.
