Speck is a teeny, tiny, microscopic Brabanter. She came last month with an order 16 chicks from Ideal's "Rare Assortment".

Here she is next to their coop and a forage cake.

The above is a 4 week old bird! Her feathers are coming in (her wings are longer then her body right now) but she's not growing any taller. The other two Brabanters surpassed her height wise a long time ago.

Here she is sleeping halfway under the coop (she is also INSANELY hard to photograph, she moves at the speed of a mouse on crack.)

Other than her small stature she is developing normally. She eats her crumbles, she forages, she drinks, she poops, she (attempts) to fly and she has a high energy level.

Now the Polish chick is bigger than her.

I found her floating in the water bucket this morning.

I am so sorry for you! It's always hard for sure, but when you have a little special one...well, that's even harder.

Thanks, she was a unique bird.
Her growth, or lack of, was starting to concern me. She honestly looked like she had some form of dwarfism going on, who knows.
