I Am very intrested in chickens and got this forum to ask all my questions on from www.backyardchickens.com. Its is very informational, I am in love with silkies and sultans. Gorgeous Chickens. Hi Megan! Welcome to the site, the people are absolutely wonderful and always ready and willing to answer any questions you have.

We used to have rabbits, our children would like to get some again. They loved their mini-lop, she was such a special little bunny. I've been wondering about having rabbits running around with our chickens (in the fenced in run) and have been doing some research on the possibility of that. I've been getting different answers so I'm still researching.

thanks Chirpy and bayouchica, !

Chirpy, our rabbits used to have a time when we would let some does out or a buck then we found out they can get pinworms from digging and eating grass. The rabbits share most chicken diseases like mucoid enteritis, coscoddiosis, etc. They could share them or the rabbits may get sick from the chicken poo. I am not sure yet but Its sounds like a good idea because I was thinking the same thing!
