Hi,

My son and I hatched eggs a couple of years ago, and this time I decided to buy chicks instead. I was at Tractor Supply last Thursday and they happen to have new chicks, I couldn't help myself or could I make up my mind. OK so I went home with 14 babies, but wait! I had to go back on Friday to pick up a couple of items and I really tried not to look at the chicks, but they got in another shipment so I had to get three RIR,s and three silky bantams mixed to go with other two I had. I am now the proud Mama of 20 babies. Do you know how long it takes to hold and talk to 20 baby chicks? Thank God they weren't puppies....

I will post pictures later... Thanks for letting me be here!

Glad to meet you Henny. Aren't you glad you didn't have four feet to jump in with? I like your enthusiasm and decision making skills. I always believe if you can't make up your mind, take them all.

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

I see you mentioned sharing some photos .. bring them on! lol. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
