Ivermec for rabbits

Hi,

I give my rabbits ivermec twice a year for worms orally. It works great. But I also was dusting my rabbits with a mite dust twice a year. My question is...do I need to do both? Or with Ivermec take care of worms and mites?

Ivermectin is effective against mites, though some question how well it is absorbed when taken orally. IME, it works quite well against ear mites and fur miteswhen given orally, though it usually takes repeated treatments in well-established cases.
