If you use the Ivermectin drench to worm your chickens, is it ok to use on 7 week chicks that are in with the entire flock?

I wouldn't. First, 7 week old chicks do not have heavy worm loads and second, you will overdose them. If "accepted" dosage is .04 ml (one drop) per kg, how can you properly dose a 1/2# bird?

This is mixed in a gallon of water not given topically!

My only concern was they’re in the same coop with the older birds because of their mother, so they’re exposed to the same worms and parasites. I figured out a way to raise the water out of the way so they can’t access it! Thank you for the help
